Meet the Dietitians Responsible for

Janette Kochis, RDN, LD

“Jan” is the owner of Nutrition Plus, a consulting business for health care facilities and community nutrition programs in Colorado and Kansas. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist and licensed dietitian and has worked in the area of geriatric nutrition for more than 40 years.

In addition to being an accomplished dietitian, she has experience working in various fields of the industry. These include being the director of Youth Nutrition Education Program for CSU Extension Service and Food Service for a Rehab Center, dietary manager course preceptor, and part-time college nutrition instructor.

Jan’s most recent experience has been co-authoring books published by Contemporary Nutrition Publications. She is also an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), Dietetics in Health Care Communities (DHCC) practice group, and Colorado Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CAND).

Shirley Lippincott, RDN

Shirley is a registered dietitian nutritionist with more than 40 years experience who is currently working part time in the field of dialysis. She has experience as a college nutrition instructor, hospital clinical dietitian, and residential and long-term care nutrition consultant.

Shirley has worked with Women, Infants, and Children’s Nutrition Program (WIC). She also provides medical nutrition therapy and developing educational materials, which include a weight management program, through her private practice, Nutrition, Etc.

She is a co-author of the books published by Contemporary Nutrition Publications. Shirley is an active member of various organizations. These include the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group (PNPG), Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM), RD’s in Renal Nutrition (RDNPG), and the Colorado Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CAND).

Rose Ann Golobic, RDN

Rose Ann has more than 25 years of experience in dialysis, including state-of-the-art home hemodialysis. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist. She was also instrumental in the establishment of five new dialysis units in Colorado and has consulted with health care facilities and hospice. In addition, she worked as a clinical dietitian for hospitals.

Being in the industry for years, Rose Ann has been involved with Head Start, Foodbanks, and other community nutrition programs. She writes articles for a monthly dialysis newsletter and is a co-author of the books published by Contemporary Nutrition Publications.

Rose Ann is an active member several organizations. These include the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), the Colorado Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CAND), RD’s in Renal Nutrition (RDNPG), and Rocky Mountain Council of Renal Nutrition (RMCRN).
